The reasons for the failure of automatic pipe welding machines are more complicated, and often one result is caused by multiple reasons, or one reason can cause several results. 1. scratches
In the production process of the automatic pipe welding machine, the tube blank scratches are mainly caused by two parts, one is the guiding mechanism, and the other is the extrusion welding mechanism.

1) Scratches on the guide mechanism
Scratches on the guide parts generally occur on both sides of the tube blank. Unreasonable adjustment of the guide structure with guide sleeves may cause frictional scratches on the upper and lower surfaces of the tube blank. The main reason is that the height position of the guide sleeve is incorrect, or the upper and lower guide roller bearings are damaged, and the tube blank cannot be well controlled, so that it forms after friction with the guide sleeve.

2) The extrusion welding mechanism is scratched
The scratches caused by the extrusion roll mainly occur at the bottom of the tube blank. The reasons are roughly that the pass pattern does not match, the lower edge of the extrusion roll pass does not match the height of the rolling line, and the extrusion force on the extrusion roll is insufficient. .


2. Weld quality failure

1) Through-length lap welding
Lap welding refers to the dislocation bonding formed after the two edges of the tube blank are stacked together. In terms of length, lap welding is divided into long and short, and the full-length lap welding is generally several meters or even longer. In terms of misalignment, there is a slight misalignment of a few tenths of a millimeter, and there is a misalignment equal to the wall thickness. The reasons for the long-length lap welding mainly include the following factors: ①The axial movement of the extrusion roller ②Bearing damage ③The bending of the extrusion roll shaft ④The extrusion force is large

2) Periodic lap welding
The periodic lap welding of the high-frequency pipe welding machine is intermittent, and sometimes the lap welding length is slightly longer, a few centimeters or even tens of centimeters, and sometimes it is slightly shorter, ranging from one or two centimeters below. Sometimes lap welding appears as a relatively regular equidistant, and sometimes it appears irregularly. Periodic lap welding generally occurs in the middle and late stages of production, mainly due to the following reasons: ① guide ring rupture ② hole wear ③ hole camber foreign body ④ swing seam ⑤ bearing damage

3) Slitting
Slitting refers to the phenomenon that the welds are not bonded together. The length of the slits is generally more than a few centimeters or even long. The main reasons are as follows: ①The hole type wear ②The bearing is damaged ③Magnetic rod ④Material.
